Himalayan Yoga Retreat (HYR) is unique in its Yoga Teacher Training approach, as it offers students training in additional therapies and creates a healing therapy specific to each students health needs. Swami Prakash believes in the holistic growth of the practitioner and therefore includes therapies and training in breathing techniques to aid in meditation, pressure points along nadis and meridians to remove emotional blockages, and ayurvedic knowledge.
HYR’s YTT students are trained in these disciplines as a part of their teacher training and can use this knowledge to further their personal practice and teaching practice.
Himalayan Yoga Retreat (HYR) offers a comprehensive 200 Hours (28 days) Yoga Teacher Training Certification that provides thorough training in all aspects of yoga - Hatha yoga , Ashtanga yoga and Vinyasa Flow. This course is designed for motivated practitioners who wish to make yoga a way of life, and wish to spread the knowledge.

The pronunciation is essential in creating a vibration working on our different bodies (subtle, physical & mental). We teach the purpose of the mantra for the teacher to know the effect and give the correct mantra & chant according to the specific subject & need, such as: better concentration, self love, more devotion, more strength & cultivating energy.

Project Report The participants have to write a report on the practice of Yoga, teaching practice and their personal experience, about any yoga topic.
